On 12 March 2026, TH Plantations Berhad extended its support to Rumah Bakti Nur Ain (RBNA) through a Back-to-School contribution amounting to RM16,070.90. The contribution aims to support the educational needs of RBNA’s children, covering school fees, sports attire, and learning materials. The amount also included a one-off contribution to assist with the operational needs of the welfare home.
The contribution was presented by Chief Executive Officer of TH Plantations Berhad, Datuk Ts. Borhan Bachi, to RBNA Administrator, Mr. Shahzul Karnon, during an Iftar (breaking of fast) gathering held at RBNA.
Also in attendance were members of TH Plantations’ senior management, including the Head of Human Resources, Head of Integrity and Governance, Head of Agronomy, and Head of Information Technology.
During the event, the children of RBNA also received duit raya contributions from Datuk Ts. Borhan Bachi, adding further joy to the occasion. Rumah Bakti Nur Ain currently provides care for 28 school-going children.
Since 2024, TH Plantations has collaborated with RBNA through several initiatives, including the Back-to-School Programme, Duit Raya Distribution, and the One Day Many Smiles programme (a one-day outing). These initiatives aim to support the children’s educational needs while creating meaningful and uplifting experiences for them. The CSR initiatives also saw the active participation of THP employees.
Guests were also taken on a walkabout around Rumah Bakti Nur Ain, led by Mr. Shahzul Karnon, providing an opportunity to gain insights into the home’s environment and the daily activities of the children.
Through such initiatives, TH Plantations remains committed to supporting community welfare and making a positive impact on the lives of those in need.

THP Sabaco has fulfilled its business zakat payment amounting to RM1,023,836.00 for the 2024 financial year (paid in 2025) to the Sabah Islamic Religious Council (Majlis Ugama Islam Sabah).
The handover ceremony took place on Monday, 2 March 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at Istana Seri Kinabalu, in conjunction with a courtesy visit to the Governor of Sabah, Tun Musa Aman.
The zakat contribution increased compared to the previous year, in line with the improved financial performance and higher profits recorded in 2024.
During the same ceremony, THP Sabaco also received Wakalah Zakat amounting to RM127,980.00, which will be distributed to eligible beneficiaries in Sabah.
THP Sabaco is a subsidiary of TH Plantations Berhad, operating in Lahad Datu and Kota Marudu, with a total oil palm plantation area of 8,842 hectares. The estates under THP Sabaco include Sg Tenegang Estate, Sg Koyah Estate, Bukit Gold Estate, and Mamahat Estate.
In addition, THP Sabaco owns and operates the Sg Tenegang Palm Oil Mill and the Mamahat Palm Oil Mill.
It is hoped that this annual zakat contribution will continue to benefit the community and further strengthen the trust and responsibility entrusted to the company.

The THP Managers’ Conference 2026 was successfully conducted over three days, bringing together leadership and management to align on the Group’s strategic direction, financial performance, and operational priorities. The conference provided a structured platform for in-depth discussions on FY2025 results, FY2026 targets, revenue enhancement initiatives, and the cascading of the THP Group One Page Strategy (OPS) 2026.
Through leadership engagements, strategic workshops, and cross-functional sharing sessions, the conference reinforced collaboration, accountability, and a shared commitment towards driving sustainable growth and operational excellence across the Group.

TH Plantations Berhad and Cenergi SEA Berhad hosted the official launch of the Cenergi Lawiang 1.2 MW Biogas Power Plant on 15 January 2026 at Bukit Lawiang Palm Oil Mill, Kluang, Johor, marking a significant milestone in the development of biogas-based renewable energy in the plantation sector.
The project, undertaken by Cenergi Lawiang Sdn. Bhd., a joint venture between TH Plantations and Cenergi SEA, converts palm oil mill effluent (POME) into clean electricity through methane capture and utilisation. At full capacity, the plant can supply energy to approximately 1,500 households per year, demonstrating practical waste-to-energy solutions for sustainable plantation operations.
The launch was officiated by Tuan Haji Mustakim Mohamad, Group Managing Director and CEO of Lembaga Tabung Haji, and attended by distinguished guests, including Datuk Dr. Ahmad Kushairi Din, Chairman of TH Plantations Berhad; Datuk Ts. Borhan Bachi, CEO of TH Plantations Berhad; Ir. Kwok Yew Hoe, Group CEO of Cenergi SEA Berhad; Encik Ahmad Jauhari and Puan Noorlida Jelani, Directors of Cenergi SEA Berhad; as well as representatives from the Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA) Malaysia, Dato’ Hamzah bin Hussin.
This event on 15 January 2026 underlines the strong partnership between renewable energy developers and plantation operators and contributes to Malaysia’s broader goals for a Net Zero 2050 future.

TH Plantations Berhad welcomed members of the local tourist guiding community to Bukit Belian Estate, Sandakan, for the Malaysian Palm Oil Certified Tourist Reference Executive (CTRE) programme, organised by the Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC).
The programme provided participants with valuable first-hand exposure to sustainable palm oil practices through expert briefings, guided estate tours, and meaningful discussions.
The CTRE initiative aims to equip tourist guides with accurate knowledge of Malaysia’s palm oil industry, covering sustainability practices, economic contributions, and health benefits, enabling them to share Malaysia’s true palm oil story with confidence.
THP stands together with the industry and the nation in nurturing awareness and inspiring responsible tourism.

On 14 October 2025, TH Plantations Berhad (THP) joined hands with the Johor Timur District Forestry Department, Global Environment Centre (GEC), and the KomPAS community for a tree planting, site inspection, and monitoring visit under the Coastal Forest and Peatland Conservation Programme at Gunung Arong Forest Reserve (GAFR).
A total of 250 trees, Merawan Siput Jantan and Keruing Neram, were planted to reinforce efforts to restore and protect the peatland ecosystem. The programme also featured progress updates, hydrology management discussions, and collaborative planning for future conservation initiatives.
This initiative reflects THP’s continued commitment to environmental stewardship and partnership-driven sustainability.

THP’s sustainability collaborations at Gunung Arong Forest Reserve continue to gain traction.
Encik Muhammad Syafiq bin Mat Nazari, THP’s Conservation Officer, recently co-authored two scientific papers with representatives from Global Environment Centre (GEC) and the Johor State Forestry Department. The papers were presented by Mr Prem Kumar and Encik Salleh Mukri at the Scientific Expedition Conference on Biodiversity 2025.

In line with TH Plantations Berhad’s commitment to enhancing the culture of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), a talk entitled “Introduction to OSHA 1994 & Amendment (2022)” was held on 16 July 2025. The session was delivered by Ir. Ts. Ahmad Rusdi bin Kamal, Factory and Machinery Inspector from the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) Kuala Lumpur. It highlighted key amendments to the Act, including employer and employee responsibilities, workplace risk assessment, Section 26A (right to refuse dangerous work), the concept of self-regulation, and the repeal of the Factories and Machinery Act 1967. The programme concluded with the OSH Integrity Pledge, symbolising THP employees’ collective commitment to a safe and healthy working environment.
