To strengthen awareness of corruption-related offenses among employees and all parties involved in the procurement process, THP has enhanced its procurement framework by reinforcing accountability, transparency, and integrity through the implementation of the Integrity Pact.
THP employees, BODs, THP suppliers are required to sign the Integrity Pact as an undertaking that they will refrain themselves from getting involved in corrupt practices throughout the procurement processes.
The main objectives for the implementation of the Integrity Pact in THP are as follows:
To prevent THP employees, BODs, THP suppliers, THP Procurement Committees and/or any other parties involved in the procurement process from accepting and/or offering bribe;
To require THP employees, BODs, THP suppliers, THP Procurement related Committees and/or any other parties involved in the procurement to report any bribery and/or act of corruption to the relevant authorities;
To avoid any occurrence of conflict of interest;
To ensure THP does not incur “unnecessary costs” in carrying out THP procurement activities; and
To prohibit unauthorized any use of THP’s proprietary information
